Erica, a Cuban-American from Baltimore, and Juan Carlos from Havana first connected while planning a trip and discovered something unexpected: a friendship rooted in culture, curiosity, and a shared love of authentic travel.

I have enjoyed traveling in Cuba alone, but it was very special traveling with Erica…Juan Carlos and…Renee. I am really looking forward to joining Erica again on one of her upcoming tours!
On my seventh visit to Cuba, I joined Erica and a lovely group of travelers from Baltimore for a week in Havana and Playa Larga on the Bay of Pigs on the South coast of the country. Erica had arranged our lodging in a beautiful bed and breakfast that belongs to friends of her family. We enjoyed great art, music and dining, as well visiting several cultural and historic sites in the city. In the South, we were served fantastic dinner on the beach at the Sol y Caribe restaurant, and spent a great day snorkeling, scuba diving and enjoying the beautiful clear waters and coral reefs of the bay. I have enjoyed traveling in Cuba alone, but it was very special traveling with Erica…Juan Carlos and…Renee. I am really looking forward to joining Erica again on one of her upcoming tours!
